Smoked Salmon Wrap with Boursin and Pea Shoots

Smoke Salmon Wrap with Boursin and Pea Shoots

We love love love smoked salmon (can you tell?)! Β We used to live real close to a lot of fantastic Jewish delis and our most favorite lunch is bagel and lox! And one day while thinking of what to make for lunch (I spend a lot of time coming up with our weekly meal plan – I know that sounds like a lot of work, but I promise it makes your life easier as the week goes on) and so we decided to come up with our own smoked salmon sandwich for lunch. Β  Our twist includes the following: Β boursin (super fantastic, creamy, garlicky cheese) and pea shoots (to convince us that it’s really spring) with all the usual ingredients – smoked salmon, dill and lemon! This smoked salmon wrap with boursin and pea shoots makes for a great lunch! You can even make it the night before since the cheese keeps the wrap moist but not soggy and the pea shoots add crunch! Try it out and let us know how you like it:

  1. Mmmm … this sounds so lovely … and easy to make as well. I’m not sure I could get pea shoots very easily either, but I’m sure some fresh salad leaves would do as an alternative … or maybe even some asparagus, as its the season and all that. Thanks for the idea!

  2. How fabulous! I absolutely looove smoked salmon, too (as well as creamy, rich Boursin cheese – yum)! I have to admit that we don’t often see pea shoots around here, but this sure makes me wish we did! Also makes me wish I could just reach right into my computer screen and grab this gorgeous wrap for lunch! Fabulous combination of flavors, colors, and textures … and so very easy, too! πŸ˜€
