Grilled Pineapple with Brown Sugar Cinnamon Glaze
Recipe type: Dessert
  • one pineapple
  • 4 tablespoons of melted butter
  • 1 tablespoon of brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • 2 teaspoons of brandy (optional)
  1. Peel and cut the pineapple
  2. Melt the butter then add brown sugar, cinnamon and brandy.
  3. Brush both sides of the pineapple with glaze.
  4. Grill on a grill pan or broil in the oven.
It's great on its own or with vanilla or coconut ice cream!

  1. Oh yum! This sounds like a good weeknight dinner-slightly nutritious (if, of course, you can pass on the temptation to eat ice cream with it?), not too expensive and exotically warm! I may just whip this up for my son and I this week!

  2. I love how simple this is! Pineapple is one of our favorite fruits at our house – and then with the brown sugar and cinnamon?? Delicious! The brandy doesn’t hurt either : )

    1. We prefer grilling them ourselves which we did the one in the post. However, one can always broil them in the oven also. Thanks!
