Cheesy Kale Chips

Author:
Ingredients
  • 1 bunch kale
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon of nutritional yeast
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 300F and line two rimmed baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Remove the kale leaves from the stems and roughly tear the leaves into large pieces.
  3. Wash and spin the leaves until the leaves are completely dry (this is essential for your chips to be crispy).
  4. Add the kale leaves, and olive oil in a large bowl and massage the olive oil until each kale is fully coated in oil.
  5. Spread out the kale leaves on your baking sheets in a single layer. Make sure the baking sheets are not overcrowded.
  6. Sprinkle the nutritional yeast over the kale leaves. Add more if you want them to be extra cheesy.
  7. Bake in the oven for 10 minutes. Then rotate the pan and bake for another 10-12 minutes. Remove from the oven when the kale chips have shrunken and are crispy.
  8. Let the chips on the sheets cool on a wire rack before eating.
