I simply can’t help myself, but do up a post about the cherry blossoms in High Park  because it’s such a treat for us to see these blooms! Every year, lots of people flock to High Park to see these beautiful, awe inspiring blossoms.  And the window to see these blossoms is so short that I’m happy I was able to go with my friend M.  We went after work on a Friday and it was packed! There were so many visitors and locals taking pictures, drinking beer and hanging out with their friends, hulla hooping (who knew this is so popular) and strolling.  In Toronto, you can admire these cherry blossoms for about a week or week and a half at High Park or at Toronto Islands.  And so many city dwellers are obsessed with these beauties that there are several websites dedicated to predicting when the blooming will start and the progress of the blooms.  These cherry tree blossoms are so majestic and beautiful that it makes one think of how beautiful life really is.

So if you’ve never been to High Park or Toronto Islands to see these beauties, do yourself a massive favor next year and make time to see them.  Even if you’re not an outdoorsy person, join your fellow city dwellers and admire these cherry blossoms next spring and I promise, you won’t regret it, in fact, you’ll be hooked to seem them again and again every spring!  Here are some of my pictures from my visit:
